PERCUSSIONS COURSES
PERCUSSIONS 1 - FOR BEGINERS, Mondays from 19h30 to 20h30Participants will learn the basic beats used on a djembé and come to know some simple African rhythms, before moving on to slightly more complex ones. The class is aimed at absolute beginners and all of those who would like to refresh their basic knowledge of playing the djembé.
PERCUSSIONS 2 - UPPER LEVEL, Tuesdays from 20h15 to 21h15
The emphasis of the class is on understanding the tune, rhythm and tempo in each of the rhythms. We will perfect the correct way to perform the basic beats and then move on to more complex rhythms, occasionally adding a traditional African song to some of them. The class is aimed at those who already know the basics of African drumming.
